Establishing the Budget -

Graphic Encounter Fine Art, headquartered in Aspen, Colorado and Los Angeles, California, was engaged by the interior design firm Dezmotif - Las Vegas, Nevada, and the Boyd Gaming Corporation, Las Vegas, Nevada to custom design 17 original works of art, which would subsequently be custom printed on Fine Art Paper for, the
Alder & Birch Restaurant, in the Orleans Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Although there was no precise artwork budget established for the unique contemporary images, our design and fabrication directive, was to create expressively unique organic designs, to compliment the public areas of this upscale restaurant. 

The Design Narrative + The Custom Art Curation

Dezmotif, specializing in Hospitality, and Gaming projects, is a well respected, Las Vegas based Interior Design Firm. Dezmotif contacted Graphic Encounter Fine Art to design original works of art, which would be provided for the public areas of the restaurant. David Jordan Williams, creative director for GEFA, worked closely with the interior designers of Dezmotif to create artwork influenced by local alder trees and birch trees.
