Purchasing: Carver and Associates - Las Vegas, Nevada

Establishing the Budget -

Graphic Encounter Fine Art, headquartered in Aspen, Colorado and Los Angeles, California, was engaged by the Interior Design Firm Foundry Concept and Design Studio - Las Vegas, Nevada, to custom design over 100 original interpretations of Mid-century Modern works of art, which were printed on Fine Art 100% Rag Paper and Fine Artist Canvas, for the Guest Rooms, Guest Suites, and Public Areas, for the 2020 Renovation - Fremont Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada.

Although there was no precise artwork budget established for the renovation, our design and fabrication directive was to create colorfully expressive, Mid-century Modern works of art, that would provide the focus for the Guest Rooms, Guest Suites, and Public Areas.

The Design Narrative -

Foundry Concept and Design Studio - Las Vegas, Nevada, enlisted the design and fabrication services of Graphic Encounter Fine Art to create over 100 original Mid-century Modern works of art, in bright, engaging color schemes, to highlight the Guest Room, Guest Suites, and Public Areas, for the 2020 renovation of this landmark Las Vegas, Nevada hotel property.

The Custom Art Curation -

David Jordan Williams, Creative Director for GEFA, worked closely with Foundry Concept and Design Studio - Las Vegas, Nevada, creating numerous original Mid-century Modern images, that would set the artistic tone for this renovation.

This collaboration between Foundry Concept and Design Studio and Graphic Encounter Fine Art was very creative and contributed to an extraordinary result for Boyd Gaming Corporation.

Fabrication -

Once the original art designs were approved by the various design teams, Graphic Encounter Fine Art provided custom maquettes on the varied specified substrates of Fine Artist Canvas, and Fine Art 100% Rag Paper, prior to production.

Once completed, these images were custom matted and custom framed, in 20 different custom matting and framing styles.
The Original Canvas Artwork was individually boxed to prevent damage to the surface during transit to the job site.
