Establishing the Budget -

Graphic Encounter Fine Art, headquartered in Aspen, Colorado and Los Angeles, California, was engaged by the interior design firm - Dezmotif - Las Vegas - Las Vegas, and Boyd Gaming Corporation, - Las Vegas, Nevada to custom design 7 original works of art, which would subsequently be custom printed on Fine Artist Canvas for the Ondori Restaurant, located in the Orleans Hotel, Las Vegas, Nevada. 

Although there was no precise artwork budget established for the large format canvas panels, our design and fabrication directive, was to create expressively colorful oriental designs, that would provide the focus for the restaurant.

The Design Narrative -  + The Custom Art Curation

Boyd Gaming Corporation, who own over 15 hotels and gaming casinos throughout the Unites States, with offices in Las Vegas, is a well respected Interior Design Firm, specializing in Hospitality, and Gaming projects. David Jordan Williams, creative director for GEFA, worked closely with the interior design department of the Boyd Gaming Corporation, including Sean Tanner, the Design Director, to collaboratively create beautiful oriental images that would be printed on Artist Canvas.

Fabrication-

Once the custom images were approved, samples of the custom images, that were designated to be printed on Fine Artist Canvas, were provided to the design team for final approval, prior to custom framing fabrication. Each canvas image, was individually boxed to prevent damage during transit and installation.
