Establishing the Budget - 

Graphic Encounter Fine Art, headquartered in Aspen, Colorado and Los Angeles, California, was engaged by Westar Architects of Las Vegas, Nevada, to custom design original works of art for the 2020 renovation of the guest rooms, guest suites, and corridors of this renowned contemporary casino / resort project, in Atlantic City,
New Jersey.

The Design Narrative + Custom Curation -

David Jordan Williams, Creative Director for GEFA, in conjunction with Westar Architects - Las Vegas, Nevada, created original works of art, which were produced as fine art prints, and large acrylic panels, for the 400 newly designed and renovated, guest rooms, guest suites, and corridors for the Ocean Casino Resort. 

Fabrication - 

As the project images were rendered, sample images on fine art paper, and custom framing styles / moulding were submitted to Westar Architects for approval prior to the model room production.

Each custom image was fabricated in optically clear acrylic and clear glass as specified. A custom ‘raise and float’ matting / framing methodology was incorporated, so that the image was raised from the background interior to provide a floating format to the custom images.
